The Institute of Psychological Resilience

Groups & Events

OPEN HOUSE | 5/13 @ 5:30PM

This event is intended to welcome the local community (and beyond!) to our new office location where you will get the opportunity to meet and speak with our trained clinicians and ask any and all questions about our practice. If you're new to therapy and don't know where to start, are looking for continued support, or are simply curious about the counseling process, we invite you to join us!

SPLITS TO STRENGTHS

A positive psychology approach to thriving beyond parental divorce or separation. What is Between Two Homes? Between Two Homes is a group program designed to support children ages 18 years of age or younger who are navigating the challenges of parental divorce or separation. This program goes beyond support–it helps children build resilience, develop coping skills, and create a positive path forward in the face of family transitions.

READY TO LAUNCH

Ready For Launch is a 6-week group therapy program designed to support high school juniors, seniors, and prospective college freshmen—along with their parents or guardians—during the transition to this next stage of life. Facilitated by clinicians at The Institute of Psychological Resilience, group sessions will focus on building emotional resilience, coping skills, confidence, and readiness for increased independence. The program will run from the week of June 29, 2026 through the week of August 3, 2026.

THE MINDFUL SHELF

The Mindful Shelf is a once monthly psychoeducational book club focusing on popular titles in psychology and mental health with discussion led by a mental health professional. We will read titles such as "The Let Them Theory", "The Body Keeps the Score" and more. There is no prior knowledge necessary; all that we ask is that you come having read the book in advance with a willingness to reflect and engage. Group sessions will be held monthly at rotating days/times to enable as many people to attend as possible.
